I can understand a speaker to make it audible in full electric mode, and sure, make it sound cool. But to just make your three-banger sound louder? That's silly. At least have it play tie-fighter sounds or something.

I was thinking a $5.00 app maybe $20 for the above but they want $70 and the reviews aren't great....

I was thinking of their app, not the accessory plug thing: SoundRacer Android app It's only 3 bucks. It requires a bluetooth OBD reader, but those are useful to have around regardless.

We've come a long way since 1975, when a friend had a Blaupunkt stereo installed in his 1968 Mustang, which had a mike input -- recorded "peel-outs" by hanging the mike out the window, then played it back at stoplights.
