From the article:

The S2000 on the other hand is a car that was created for the single purpose of socially irresponsible driving, a dream car for the true enthusiast. After getting out of the S2000 every other car feels heavy, cumbersome, imprecise, untrustworthy and just plain less fun. It is the one car I desire for myself more than any other.

Ha ha ha!!! :D :D

Lips2000, you beat me to it! I had the exact same text in the clipboard. :)

Really positive article, i'm amazed they wanted to show it in AudiWorld though...

It is literally a pleasure to use and the gearing is so tight that you can snick your way up through the first four gears without even touching the clutch.
What does that mean? No clutch needed? Is this guy nuts! Some of us grind even using the clutch!

I almost bought a TT, nice lines, fairly quick, good ride, until I saw the Stook. Other than they both seat 2 you shouldn't even compare them as the TT is a touring car and the S2K is a sports car. The TTs audio system is MUCH better but it's a $1000+ option.

I've practiced clutch-less shifting quite a bit, both in the car and on my bike. It's not too difficult, just make sure to get the revs right and shift without load on the drive train. Especially on race bikes it's standard practice, often they have electronic cut-off to make sure there is no load while shifting. It's of course not recommended at all for daily driving, and mistakes sound horrible... :)

This guy knows what he is talking about. This is what all S2000 reviews should be.

One of my favorites:

Venture into the magical land of VTEC, however, and you are in for the most insane auditory and sensory experience the production car world has to offer.

Whoa, that was an awfully accurate view of the S2K to be listed off Audiworld of all places.

YES Pinky,

If you do it right, heel & toe or other way of adjusting the engine rpm with the car speed and the gear you select to go into, you can shift and drive with out the clutch.
(You can practice this by moving the stick to neutral, put a slight pressure towards the gear you want and rev the engine with out tuching the clutch, you will feel when it will let you in at the optimum rpm. Now, you may want to practice this with another car).
