I just wanted to let you know how fortunate I was to have not gone to the Central Texas event today.
Apparently they were out on some back country roads, and had taken a route which was common for many people to drive fast and hard. There was a sting set up, and all the cars were stopped (also several motorcycles).
I just bailed Kirk (The Captain) out of jail about 1hr ago-- they impounded all the cars and cited each person with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and speeding.
Bail wasn't too bad at $500.00, though it took hours... and the cars are still impounded.

Wow! Another april fools' gag? If not, how fast were they traveling and what was posted limit? Had to be a pretty big gap if the vehicles were impounded I guess.
