Default bad in snow

today was the first day i ever drove in snow, and last. my car was in the driveway when we were hit by a snow storm, this morning i wanted to put it in the garage, and i had to pull out the CRV that was inside it. i backed the car out of the driveway and into the street. then i hopped into the crv and pulled it out. when i tried to get the s2k back into the driveway and into the garage, it got stuck. i had to go to HOme Depot and get salt. 20 feet from my house, my car was stuck.

S2000 + Stock S02's + snow = very bad

S2000 + Stock S02's + cold dry ground = very easy to break loose on corners

S2000 + winter tires + snow = not too bad

The SO in "SO-2" means Summer Only. The only way to get SO2 tires to grip in snow is to add studs, a silly thought.
This car has 50/50 balance, a lower polar moment and a low stance. These shyould help in snow. Get snow tires to drive in snow, or forget performance and get all season radials for all year.

The SO2 tire is so bad in snow, it should carry a danger sign, maybe like a snowflake and one of those "NO" rings with a slash.

Actually it handles very well in the snow, just with snow tires. It doesn't like ice though

Actually the Blizzaks have very good ice siping on its tread, however, driving on ice is sorta like walking on ice. You can do it but you have to do it carefully. It just takes a delicate hand and a foot and another foot.

People should not get the misconception of this car being useless in the snow and deter them from driving it. Just put the proper tires on the thing and all will be well again.

I've owned my S2000 since Monday. 3 of those days I've had to drive on snow and some icy conditions... its really no problem. I mean, its still a Honda. Its not like we drive Camaros

However, thats with a set of good winter tires.

I don't even want to imagine what it would be like on the S-02's!

I'm sorry but sadly, like DRL's, this feature is only available for customers north of the 49th.
