Default The Best Body

Without offending the purists I was wondering if anyone has fitted a bodykit to their car? I searched the web but couldn't find anything. I like the Air walker kit on this site

I'm in the UK so I would have to import it.

How much do they cost + fitting??

If anyone has any advice that would be great

It depends on how much work the kit needs and how nice you'd like the final product to be. Do a search for my handle and Veilside for some of my comments on install of that kit on my ride. VS is supposedly one of the best kits quality-wise out there, but it still requires a lot of work.

For instance, do you want the final kit stuck with double-sided tape to your car, or do you intend to mold the kit on and repaint? If it's simply a bumper replacement, that's a lot cheaper, but attached panels will look better if molded. Final cost will depend on how much time whoever does the fitment needs to spend (or wants to spend for that perfect fit).

As with many things, the more money you spend, the better the final product.

Just a thought but I'd be trying really hard to find either a local shop that does the kit or getting one custom made.
I just dont think I'd like to be importing something as big and delicate as a fibreglass body kit that is hard enough to fit when straight out of the factory.
Any one tried importing one that can advise on this.
And for more pics try the photo gallery you'll find most in there, i.e C-west, veilside, Top secret, Mugen etc.

Aust,

No problem with imports....the Veilside kits are coming from Japan (I believe) and they show up without issue. Good quality fiberglass...
