Best places to list s2k for sale?
 

For those who have sold an s2k in recent years - what do you think are the best places to list an s2k for sale? I'm in northern New England.

I bought mine off Craigslist ad.
There is no right or wrong place.... I'd start with free (Craigslist) and see what kind of interest you get. Do be prepared for the Craigslist scams that come with that though.

Craigslist charges $5 for a 30 day listing on cars now.

Which one are you selling? The 03 or 02?

If the car is in excellent shape and fairly low miles, BAT isn't bad.. and sometimes they go for crazy money.. If it's above 50K, it's hit or miss as to whether you'll get top dollar and they'll require a fairly low reserve. I got a great deal on mine that way (bad news for a seller), but you can't beat the exposure.

Lately, they seem to be focused on really low mile cars, though.

Why are you selling it? I thought you’d want to use that until you retire and bring out the ‘03 5en?

How many miles does it have? How much are you looking to get?

I’d list it on all car selling websites such as autotrader or cars.com

I had to buy a daily commuter car, Mazda 3 AWD, and the finances are such that I can't own two sports cars now. Basically, I need the money. :) Plus, the retirement date is not all that far off.

It has just over 40K miles.

Price? Good question. I'm figuring that out now as I ready it for sale. It will be listed in the next couple of weeks with a lot more details. But, basically, its a nice well cared for and well sorted 02 ap1 that is virtually stock and was never modified and never driven on track or autocrossed. Two mature owners. I'm second owner. I bought it with 8.5K miles and its got about 40K miles now.
