Good tires make a world of difference in the way your car performs.

So many issues...

Does a tire thread belong in general discussion forum? Should be in wheel tire forum?

This feels like just a regurgitated column from another forum and the make/model replaced with Honda S2000

Um, the Michelin Pilot SS was never an oem tire for this car. A remnant of previous issue?

Could this thread ever possibly benefit anyone? Is there a valid target audience?

this is a pretty trash article. leaving the bridgestone potenza re71r off that list but including the firestone firehawk that uses outdate tech from an older bridgestone is a joke

which says a lot since the firestone is one of the better tires on that list

The Continental Extreme Contact Sport is NOT an "all-season" tire. Someone needs to correct that.

I think it's safe to say no info or advice should be taken from any of these articles anymore :)

One of the best compilation of press releases and third party comments that I have seen in the past 24 hours on this site. (NOT!)

I'm honestly surprised to see the Sumitomo HTR ZIII on this list. I ran these on my BRZ and while its a fantastic budget performance tire for daily driving, I found the weaker sidewall did not lend itself to be very confidence inspiring on twisty mountain roads. Best bang for your buck for the owner who only takes their car out on the weekends and never sees the track. But if you do anymore than that, I'd honestly pay for something more performance oriented.

I really cant believe this was posted. How many people are going to click this and get incorrect information or miss out buying something that would be better suited for them. Worst of all, someone new to the community may trust this article over forum posts that actually have the correct information. Please correct all of the mistakes or take this down.

Not being a trained Pro driver and driving street only, subtle tire differences are not important to me.

That being said, I use the tire that that the S2000 was designed and tuned with instead of trying to out engineer the original Honda design team

This actually reinforces my opinion that virtually every article approved of or penned by this editor is pure crap.
