My Valentine resides in the top part of the compartment. Mine is an older version without laser detection, as that would be an obvious problem. Not a whole lot of laser used here, and when they do, it's not too hard to spot guys sitting in lawn chairs on overpasses etc. Radar detection is still very good. The concealed display sits on top of the steering column and can be quickly removed and hidden when pulled over. A hidden power switch that is easily reached, kills the beeping. Radar detector detectors have to be very close to detect Valentines (a few feet according to an article I read years ago).

Bananas or condoms?

I can't check my car but don't recall water bottles will fit in there. Not the normal 12oz size.

And are we really allowed to talk about the Secret Compartment anyway?

I tried that unsuccessfully for two trips. Each spring and fall I drive from Chicago to Boston to spend a week or two with my elderly mother. For some reason, the EZPass toll booths in OH and NY do not always recognize my unit. I finally had to put velcro behind my windshield to mount the EZPass and that works in all locations.

The back section will hold two hand grenades in case I drive by a Trump rally.

For road trips the Secret Compartment holds CDs very well. Plenty for a 7-hour road trip, anyway. Though with my taller windscreen, I can't put it down while the top is up, but it's easy to flip down with the top down.

I suggest you just fall on the grenades.

I drove across the PA turnpike to Gettysburg last month and it picked up immediately?
