If you do the research you'll see its one of the safest convertables ou there. Just show mommy and take it from there. I love my S and the one thing I love most about it is that I'm paying for it. All on my own name.

I'm 6'3" and had a 6'5" passenger in the car when I rolled it, neither one of us even had a scratch, I vote it's a pretty safe roadster.

I think if you make sure to give her all the facts and figures...showing her that you are serious and above all take your time and find the right one. Maybe even taking some kind of driving course (not school lessons) but on a track just for yourself to learn the capabilities of the Sk2 (if you get it) with the help of a seasoned driver. I may do that here in Connecticut at Limerock. I think its called Skip Barber. Are you looking at used for 15K or under or a new and you will split the cost with the rents?
