The best way to Visit our National Parks
1 Attachment(s)
Top down of course in your S2000. A group of Vintage members just spent this weekend at Gettysburg, PA. About 20 of us toured the park and listened to narration from some of our members on our two way radios. As we drove through the countryside we got a lot of thumbs up and great comments about our cars. We passed through a town having an apple fest and almost became part of a parade. Get out there and enjoy your cars and if you can attend a group drive, do it.

I can't wait until I can earn and take enough days off to make a National Park tour in the S. I just started a new job last year, so paid time off is limited. My girlfriend keeps hinting at a small motorhome or van conversion. I don't want to go that soft. I'm looking forward to future years when we can do tours like that. You and cosmomiller are my inspiration.

For our 20th anniversary a couple of years ago, my wife and I put 6500 miles on the S in 10 days. Hit up Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Glacier, and Theodore Roosevelt parks. Epic trip!

Nice!

Our crew has hit up Crater Lake several times. Most beautiful lake ever. No inlet sources or outlets. It all comes from direct from rain and snow meltoff.
You'll NEVER see bluer water in your life. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/uploads/g...33e9827283.jpg |

I got to see a lot of the western National Parks in my youth. Family trips took us to Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Sequioa, Yellostone, Glacier, Olympic, into Canada Banff and Lake Louise, Redwoods, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few right now.
I can't wait to see more, and go back to favorites. |
Been to Crater Lake twice in my lifetime, loved the drive around it.
Nice metallic green "S" at the end of the row. Never seen one that color. |
