Why is that such a far out question?
You are using drag racing specific terminology on a board that focuses on a non-drag specific car.

"To pre-load the clutch: come out of the burn out put into first.
Let the clutch out slowly until the car starts to lurch forward HOLD THE LEFT LEG THERE. Don't push in or let out, use the gas to stage the car holding back with the ebrake. Stage, rip the e-brake, put it on the 2 step, 3rd yellow brake down, clutch out. Don't side step, just lift off. Done."

The preload is basically having the clutch slightly engaged while staging.

With good conditions stock AP1s have been known to hit 13.9. I'm not sure about AP2s - the difference being the heavier wheels yeilding more unsprung weight.

I ran 14.2 with my 01 AP1 with shitty Direzza DZ101s. There is just no fun drag racing an s2000 though, I will not be going back lol.
Thats what I have the bike for, even with the trans popping out of second I run a 10.2 on the bike.

I went to the old moroso now called palm beach international raceway, they have a road coarse there, go karts, 1/4 mile drag strip, and if I'm not mistaken a motocross track, they also do drifting events out there.... To me the s2000 is a versatile vehicle, it's made for the racing enthusiast, I can drag one day, and auto x the next, and drift the next, who is to say what the car is made for, it's what you get it for, I got it generally because I'm a Honda enthusiasts, and I think the s2000 is the best car ever made, I can race the car all day, then go and take a bad bitch out to dinner or something because it is still a beautiful luxurious car...

I agree with you somewhat except for the "luxurious" part...
