Book Values are up for a lot of cars, not just S2k's
A lot of people trying to buy a used car from Honda (or other makes and models) have probably noticed pretty steep prices. Eg: 02-03 Ep3's going for "2009" Ap1 prices. I have seen plenty with 120k + miles going for $7k, 8k, 9k, even $10k. I was considering selling mine and getting a 2005 GPW, but I'm not willing to fork out $18-20 for it. Yup and statistics show 70-80% of new drivers get into an accident or fender bender within the first 2-3 years. Not a car you want that to happen in. Factor in the power and insane handling with little or no experience and you got a disaster waiting to happen...
