Default Boost guage question...

I am going to purchase a boost guage for my supercharger, but I am completely clueless as to which to buy. I really like the look of the apexi EL2 mechanical guage, but it only comes in "KPA" not psi. So my question is, what is the difference?? How will it display boost? On the guage it goes in segments of -1.0, -.5, 0, .5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0.....Does .5 mean 5psi? Or am i way off?? Let me know!! See below for pic of apexi. Please feel free to make suggestions on different boost guages, my only requierment is that it has to look cool

Do you want one that is back lit at night time? If so, what color...

I'll find you some good looking ones that will do the trick.

Yes, .5KPA- is equivalent to 5psi.

PSI/Bar does not convert equally. The gauge pictured shows the pressure in Bar.

turbo-pwr, you are right to some extent. It isn't exactly accurate, but it is pretty darn close. If i remember correctly, it is killigramd per square centimeter, which is close to the same. Either way, I would definately find one with psi on it instead.

That is a good reference. I retract my previous statement. My point still stands that I would go PSI if i were you. Otherwise youll always be explaining to people.

oh damn i didn't even read that, i agree go PSI gauge if possible. So much easier to tell people you are running 6lbs of boost then .42 bar.

.42 bar what?!?! LOL, I can only imagine the questions you would get.

Tell me what you think of that one. It is available with the vacuum and boost, like shown, or just boost which goes up to 30. this on glows green at night.
