Default Bought mine today

Today I drove home my new 2001 Silverstone/black S2K.

Considering the number of S2ks I'v driven in the last few weeks that were wrecked and badly repaired, repainted, badly worn interiors, and leaking engines, I'm thrilled with my new car. I bought it from a lady in her mid-fifties who had receipts for every service and oil change at the Honda dealer. She's had the car since new, carfax was squeaky clean and the car is impeccable inside and out. It's even got new tires and a new back window. Overall I'm pleased and can't wait to drive it again tomorrow!

Awesome. Yes, any car, even one as dependable as a Honda will degrade if not cared for. Glad you found one in good shape.

wow so lucky. i would definately pay more for something like that than a car without any records even if it looked cleaner.

how much did you pay btw and how many miles?

Welcome to the club. I've had my car for over four years, and still look forward to driving it.

My car (a year older than your car) still has the original rear window, and it's still clear and flexable. Except for having a mechanic clobber one of my ABS sensors while working on the car, I've had ZERO problems. Hopefully your experience will be the same.

Check your tires (read up on all the spins reported here on S2kI), and consider having the valve spring retainers inspected for stretching.

Hahaha, maybe so. I've actually always tried to keep my cars nice, and it's gotten harder as I've gotten older.

At least you know older people don't drive the car hard.
