From the 03 owners manual:

Break-in Period
Help assure your car's future by paying extra attention to how you drive during the first 600 miles (1,000 km).
During this period:
  • Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration. Do not exceed 5,500 rpm for the first 600 miles (1,000 km) of operation.

  • Avoid hard braking. New brakes need to be broked-in by moderate use for the first 200 miles (300 km).

  • Do not change the oil until the recommended time or mileage interval shown in the maintenance schedule.

You should follow these same recommendations with an overhauled or exchanged engine, or when brakes are relined.

Um.. I have an invisible bra, it's great. But, depending on how new your paint job is I would find out, if under 3 months they recommend not putting one on yet, paint needs 90 day cure. Secondly, it would be a real good idea to put a nice couple good coats of wax on before you put the bra on (it will help down the road when you must remove it), I used Zaino.

yeah, extended periods of part throttle will not help seat the piston rings, so even if you put the 700 miles on i don't reccomend pushing her until you're at 1000 or so, and have done at least a few heat cycles and short trips, because those will help seat the rings. Congratulations!

I was always a fan of braless, LOL. Seriously, having a bra on and getting caught in the rain could effect the finish. My vote is to not go with the bra, but try to stay away from those damn shit-kicking 18 wheel trucks. They kick up all kinds of shit and some spue oil as well. They're a damn hazard and a pain in the ass.

I don't like the black bras either, except on women.

Well, sometimes bra and sometimes none. Same with panties. I'm just playing! Gotta let them breathe sometime.

I've never liked bras on cars, esp. the black ones. Maybe there are those "invisible" bras?

I must admit DFul, they're harder to remove from cars.

no one makes a decent Bra for our car my 00 or 04. colgan is the manufacturer most mentioned so do a search for it but it doesn't work very well. clear ones are the only real way2go.
