Default brake fluid

hey...i'm gonna get my newly painted calipers and goodridge ss brake lines installed next week and since i have close to 10k on the car, i figured i'd not only have the brake fluid bled, but just replaced completely.....what's in an 04-05 stock and what brand and type should i get....thanks in advance

I use Motul.

Strongly recommend you go to the Under the Hood forum and look for the oil journals thread, midnight.

If you track and are willing to change the fluid at least every 2 years, I like Ate Blue/Gold alternately.

The best DOT3 fluid I know of is Motorcraft Super Premium from Ford.

I am amused by Valvoline Synpower - all brake fluids are synthetic as they are glycolic in origin. It is an OK fluid though - just marketing hype trying to make hay over its name.
