This is what happens when you drive 55 mph (speed limit on i-285) in Atlanta. Not good.

Wow, a republican? What an idiot! I expected him to be a Democrat passing a law that restricts freedoms further and shoves the blame onto the people instead of the government. I guess they've all lost it!
How many lanes does your local highway have? Two to four most likely. You can drive slower to save yourself on gas if you want to. But I guess we need laws to tell us what to do every day.
Hey, I live in a state where you can't talk on your phone while driving because you must be too stupid to do more than one thing at a time. Awesome.

55 if there no gas to go around like in the 70s when there was a shortage, just because its expensive I don't think we should drive slower.

PLUS it was a safety issue. 55MPH in one of those 1970's TANKS with drum brakes and NO suspension (let alone, airbags, ABS, crumple zones, etc, etc.) would be SCARY as hell. I barely notice the speed in a modern car going 70.

The speed limit around here is 65mph. When the highways are busy, we're lucky to maintain 50mph and there is a lot of stop and go (mostly from retarded drivers who floor it and then hit the brakes). If somebody could get us at a constant 55mph, that would be an upgrade.
