So I go out to my car at lunch today to find that someone shot the passenger door with a paint ball. Now I have a fing dent in the door. It must have happened in my driveway last night and I didn

 

i hate those people. Why would they want to vandalize someone else's property like that? That is just stupid. I hope the dent is not too serious.

I hear ya... I had my S for only 2 months when I was rearended at a stop light a few weeks ago. Just sitting there waiting for the light to turn green and BAM! I've owned 2 other cars and never had any dings with those junkers. I get a nice, new car and of course...should've known it. Thank goodness the damage wasn't too bad and her insurance cut me a check pretty quickly for the repair. What annoys me is that even though it won't cost me out of pocket I still have to make an appointment to have the work done, have someone give me a ride home after dropping my car off, wait for it to be done, have to make a dozen calls to the body shop along the lines of "is it done yet", take the chance that the body shop does a good job and doesn't damage something else while it's there, and then get someone to drop me off to pick up the car.

I guess I cant have anything nice either.

I know the feeling - My car has been egged 3 times in 9 months. I had already re-painted the damage done to the paint once, just to have it done 2 more times. I had just moved into my neighborhood when it happened, and met only one neighbor, who was really nice, so it's not like I did something to someone in my neighborhood who's now retaliating... I don't know - My experience has been that 1 in 10 people are worthwhile knowing, 8 in 10 are the ones who cut you off on the freeway, and the last 1 in 10 will use your door panel for target practice... It's just noo good.

What is that old adage? 'I love humanity, It's people I can't stand...'

 

I had someone piss on the front of my car after I got it.

 

I saw someone's dog piss on my left rear wheel after I got it.

 

Man, all this talk about vandalism makes me glad I waited until I had access to a garage for storing my new car before I bought it. What's that old saying about the nail-head that sticks out getting the hammer? I guess any nice car is the victim of vandals because it stands out in the crowd.
