Default Car pulls to the left on acceleration

Maybe I'm crazy, maybe this is normal and I've just not noticed it.....

Lately its been bugging me but under acceleration, either moderate or hard my car will pull to the left, let off and it settles back down and to the right. Cruizing in a straight line either with or without throttle I go perfectly straight.

It's not severe, but does require minor correction each time. Is this normal?

Thanks, Travis

One of your rear tires is low on air.

could it be the alignment? I had the same problem before on my accord but that was a FF rather then FR, so not too sure how that might come into play.

Dammit all to hell.....now I feel like an idiot, I call myself a car guy and decided to post before I checked what was even ringing in my on head as a possible cause.

You were right. Is that caused by the LSD?

Thanks, Travis

tkeedy,

One of your tires is probably low on air. Without knowing anything else, my guess is it's the left rear tire.

You were exactly right, Left Rear was down by about 15lbs, couldn't have been that way longer than a week or 2, I'm ashamed I haven't checked them in that long. I don't see a puncture but will go have it checked out anyway, don't see the weather change doing that much.

Thanks all, Travis

Yeah, I think it's due to the LSD. Since your left rear was down, it had a shorter rolling radius than the right. Since the LSD tries to keep both wheels rotating at the same speed, the right rear will essentially try to cover more ground per revolution, hence pushing the car to the left upon acceleration.

It doesn't interfere with straight line driving since the LSD only does its thing under power.

I had a leak in my tire and experienced the same problem. I took it in and I had a faulty valve stem. Replacement cost was $6.
