Default Cat Scratched my NEW SUZUKA BLUE HOOD...HELP!

My good friends cat was sitting on the hood of my New Suzuka Blue Hood and I was careful not to get it excited when I politely removed it...Problem is that the little critter left some nice scratch marks on the hood. It didn't get through to the paint and they aren't real deep...Has anyone else dealt with this problem? I searched the archives and haven't found anything that would help...any advice would sure be appreciated from someone who rectified this situation...I believe a buffer would take them out but I would like to do it myself if possible...any advice?? Jody

try meguires scratch x (use about 3 coats let them sit for a few minutes) and then use the wax you would normally use

Try a sack half filled with rocks, half filled with cat, dropped into the Pacific Ocean.

A microwave works well too. . I'm curious. What was your friends reaction? I hate people who are oblivious to stuff like this. Like when you go over to people's houses and their dog is drooling and jumping all over you.

Actually my friend didn't know about it because I didn't notice it until I got home...He's the kind of friend who would really feel bad, so I think I will just keep it to myself...Now...Here Kitty, Kitty...

Cats have scratched mine, removed with 3M Scratch & Swirl remover. BUT... they will do it again and the only thing I've found keeps them off is a car cover. It may be impractical to cover your car when you're visiting your friends but cats love S2Ks. They are warm, flat and close to the ground. Only a proximity alarm can do better than a cover. You would think that a cover would make it even more inviting but for some reason (my cats, anyway) are afraid of it.
