I was working on my bumper-mounted camera project, and took some cool video of my S2000 tooling around the local streets and freeway. The video was shot from a small camera about 1"x1"x1/2" thick mounted under the bumper via one of the bolts.

Right before I got back home, what did I catch on camera coming the other way? A Suzuka Blue racing a White Mustang on one of my local streets in the SFV.

From the look of the video, it looks grim for the S2000.

Since the camera was pointed ahead, it only got a passing shot of the action, sorry for the quality, it wasn't made for stills:

A short, crappy video clip can be found here:

The S isn't designed for straightaway racing anyway. Throw in some twisties and some turns, and the 'Stang is toast.

Yes, it's a cheap mini-camera sold at Fry's. Sells for about $30.

Here's a link to the thread I originally posted about it.

Agreed. The S2000 should be able to take out a Stang with no problem. (Stock for Stock)

Now if it was in fact a SVT, then not even a call to comptech can save you.

Ive was driving home one time and saw another fellow S2k from Florida cruisn. Well a blue Mustang GT rolled up to the Floridian and wanted to race once the light turned green.....I was lined up right behind the Mustang GT.....well BLAM!!! the light turned green and the Floridian S2k took off with ease. (Both cars at a complete stop)

No match....Floridian really handed it to the local NJ Stang.....lol...funny funny stuff....plus I was able to stay close to his tail so I think he was a bit pissed......

When it comes down to it...the launch is important...plus its how hard the driver wants to take it.....
