Default Celsius instead of Fahrenheit on US S2k?

Does anyone know if you can somewhat easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit on the outside temperature monitor? I'm in the US where I just got the car, but I still think in Celsius having lived in Canada for 97% of my life .... 40 should be blistering hot, not freaking freezing!

Yeah yeah yeah ... km <-> miles (0.62) is even easier, but they still let you switch that one! I do enough math at work that I don't want to do it anywhere else (yes, I'm quite lazy).

To lazy to read your manual?
You should have a brand new one.
As new as your brand new car.

Yes, I did .... but I'll look at it again. All I remember it saying was that US models read in Fahrenheit and CDN in Celsius. Apologies for a stupid post if it explains it there (I'm not really that lazy!)

(edit below)

Alright. I checked. On pg 52, it says:
[QUOTE]Outside Temperature Indicator
This indicator displays the outside temperature in Fahrenheit (U.S. models) or Centigrade (Canadian models).

The temperature sensor is in the front bumper.

I am pretty curious on this... are there any more thoughts? Also, I have curiosity engaged in something else... in the manual, it seems that the clock is able to handle 24-hour time -- is this what countries outside North America have?

Ah, I wouldn't worry about it -- I've actually been wondering about the actual usefulness of such a device. My only conclusion is that it provides others with an opportunity to beam light from their anuses about how their car resembles a mercedes more than another's corolla. The different models of S2Ks all have their highlights compared to the others (9K rpm, no DBW, more torque, VSA, etc.) -- and I wouldn't mind already having a year done on payments and ownership

That said, I am still going to tinker with this doo-dad...
