Also, I'm not trying to sound like a douche (I know its no Ferrari or even a Boxster), but I really DON'T want to hear about your Civic, Scion, Cavalier, etc lol.

 

All the time! Comments range from:

"SLOW DOWN!" (rolling through at 26 mph in neighborhood 30 zone)
"Do they make it for guys?"
"Miatas are cool."
"I used to have one with a V8."

 

Went to get my safety/emission inspection this morning. The tech tells me it's a cool car. Nothing wrong with that.

Nearly every time I drive it somebody makes a comment about it. It's funny because up here in Northern VA, folks aren't very friendly.

One of my coworkers thought my '02 AP1 was "At least a 2010."

Lots of people tell me how nice it looks and people always stare.

 

I've gotten a variety of things.. Several ppl have asked if its a BMW.. And most recently an old hill jack in the lowes parking lot asked me what kind of car it was and told me it looked like a mix between a corvette and a viper.. I'm assuming those were the only two sports cars he knew by name haha

 

I have one on bricks in my driveway missing parts and wrecked and people like it

 

Ton's of attention at gas stations, especially if I just polished her up and have the top down.

 

From one owner to another . Goes like this , long day at work ,tired ,hungry couldn't wait to get home ..kind of day.
Then I see an S2k in my rear view mirror ...I sit up and take notice this car is completely stock with two "older" ppl in it a man driving and a women passenger.As we come up to the next light they get beside me ... I lower my window,they do the same, few words exchange.

The woman says to me "So what do think"
I say .."you tell me" ..she smiles , double thumbs up and laughs ...I wink in agreement .........nuff said
