Default Correct wheel offset?

Ok, I was thinking about changing out the wheels on my S and wasn't really sure what would work for a fit. Alot of aftermarket wheels that claim to fit on the S have all sorts of different measurements.

Right now I'm looking at a pair of 17x7 for the front and 17x8 for the back. Both have a 45 offset as the highest available. I know most aftermarkets are about 50 for the S. Will those work with no problems or should I just look for something else?

First off hey whats up man?

You should post this in the tire and wheel forum section. And no go with those wheels dude. You need to hit up tirerack.com they have a few 17's there that fit the S. There isn't that many wheels that actually fit our cars so be careful. I would say the total amount of wheels that actually fit is probably less than 30 kinds.

Thanks for the info. I was kinda dissapointed at the chioces at tirerack so I tried to venture out. Completely forgot about the wheel and tire section since I hardly ever visit that area.
