To CR or not to CR
#11
If it's a weekend/track car, the CR is great. But if you leave your car on the streets, the soft top is really convenient. My vote is for the base.
I always wonder how much better sales would be if the Type S was brought in with the softtop instead of the full on CR.

totally get the CR if i am you, we had a couple CR last track day and man those thing just hang in the corner like they are on rail.
i personally almost never use the softop so if i gotten a cr the hardtop is on 24/7

Base FTW! I like the soft top.

I had the choice and went with an 08 base in Chicane Silver.
CR downsides[*]The top[*]Ricer looks[*]Color, I wanted Silver metallic[*]Sound absorbing material (like it matters)[*]Performance that cn only be accessed on a track[*]Fugly seats
CR upsides[*]Faster steering[*]Suspension[*]Hard tonneau cover
Looks like most people came to the same conclusion. Base!

Let's reevaluate with some analysis:
CR handles better. Base costs less. Upgrade suspension to your liking. Benefit gone.
CR has hardtop. Base costs less and comes with softop. Buy hardtop, sell softop if you want to to make up some of the difference. Benefit gone.
I don't see the bodykit as a benefit.
Interior styling is meh.
Only real benefit is the exclusivity of having the CR, kinda like a Type R, but the Type R had much more upgrades when compared to a GSR.
