-Custom S2000 AP1 LED Taillights-
i work with acrylic all day with headlights that i custom make. we have also been messing with LED boards for customer cars as well. so i decided to go ahead and put my poor car under the knife.
took the taillights apart. took out the stock red reflector. traced it onto the red acrylic. cut and trimmed the red acrylic. mounted the custom made LED board that fit perfectly into the taillight housing. applied the red lens, and wire it up.
sorry for the bad pictures. i dont know how to use this camera. still kinda new to me. ill just post up all the pix that turned out halfway decent.
here is the video of the lights turned on, as well as brakes:

the lens didnt make it very well LOL. good thing for back-ups.
i just need to wait 'till the silicone dries, mount up the new lens, and do the other side. the taillight is just sitting there. not mounted to the car yet.
i hope to have finished pix soon. so keep an eye on this thread for more finished pix, as well as day time pix.
so watcha think?

I think that I would buy that if you sold it as a kit!
If someone mailed you their tails, could you do that conversion for a chunk of cash?
I want LED tails, but the previous solutions have been dimmer than incandescent. And I didn't want to cut up the vehicle to fit AP2 tails.
