07 Black S with 10,250 on it. I drive 11 miles round trip to work and back. Other than that I don't drive that much. I put maybe 9k on it a year.

I plan to keep the car for at least 4 years and I plan to start modding it after the factory warranty is up.

Have an 05 that I bought new 11/05. As of 9/08 I had 50,000 miles, with very few winter miles.
1. Replaced the original rear tires at 28,000 miles, still have the original fronts with good tread life left.
2. Top replaced under warranty at 24,000 miles due to faulty elastic straps
3. Wheel bearing replaced at 43,000 under warranty
4. 1 set of front brake pads
thats got to be a record or something...

o1, put like 7,000 miles per year. I don't know how people can complain about this being a bad daily driver, it's a blast to drive! I'd hate driving something all fancy like a bmw as a daily driver.... BOOORING, if i want comfortable I'll wait til I get home and pass out on my big comfy couch.... on the road, I was something raw and engaging to make every commute more fun.

With that said, the S really feels like a luxury car to me lol.... I'm used to driving old trucks with no ABS, bald tires, no traction control etc., even the tiniest rain and i'd be sliding around all over the road everytime i breaked. cloth seats, no cd player, door wouldn't shut right..... to me, my S is like a bentley, it's so comfortable, SO quiet, too quiet actually (i'm used to loud off-road exhausts with aftermarket camshafts.... freakin loud!). To me, this car is pure luxury and an excellent daily driver.

lol you people must beat the hell out of your cars or get some fancy 'performance' tires. All I know is my tires will easily last me 30-40k miles.

Just got a 2002 with 55,000 miles. Winter really wasnt a good time to buy this car, guess i gotta get used to it anyway. Big difference from my Subaru. Lets hope driving around in NYC doesnt ruin it.
