Dealer Update (long)
SO yesterday i noticed oil leaking out of the bottom of my car. I thought it was the rear main seal, i took it in the dealer and they wouldnt work with me at all. My car has 28,400 miles on it, and they told me my warranty is expired...wtf. i was like cool, ill call honda corporate, whats the number. The guy REFUSED to give me the number, so i looked in my user manual in the car and called the number, only to find out the number changed. I walked back into the dealer, found the 05 S2K on the showroom floor, got in it, got the manual and looked the number up, all the while people are just staring at me. A dealer walks over and says "can i help you" in a really shitty tone (the service guy i spoke with was really shitty to me too) and i said "No, you couldn't, so don't worry, I'll take care of it) I get the number, i walk out and file a claim with Honda. I drive home, and decide to check the oil (which i should have done in the first place, yes, i feel like an idiot.)
It turns out, my last oil change a week or so ago, was done at the same dealer, so i'm looking around my motor bay and i see something funny on top of my battery. I pick it up and its MY OIL CAP. I look at the valve cover and there's nothing there and oil is EVERYWHERE. I took some pics, which i can prolly post later if anyone is interested, i checked my oil and it is SO low my oil light came on, i closed my hood, left everything where it was, and went to bed. I woke up this morning, drove in with my dad, and they were so nice about it, it kind of threw me off...i wanted to fight. They took care of it, and i walked around the lot a little bit and just looked around. A guy approaches me and i ask about the new Civic SI, and he was like "yeah, they're even faster than S2000s. I went to this premier thing in Phoenix and the SI outperforms the s2000 in EVERYTHING." So i argued with him about it, and when i threw out facts, he stopped paying attention, checked out this hot girl on the lot, made a comment about how he was gonna take her for a test drive and have sex with her, and then tried to argue with me again. I said "You're an idiot," and walked away. I can't beleive these people. My car came out, i checked the oil and oil cap, made them take it back because it wasn't as clean as i wanted it, and then when i finally got it back, i drove to work.
I CANT STAND MY DEALERSHIP
Cliffnotes: Dealer left my oil cap off, oil got everywhere, it wasn't my rear main seal. Car dealers are morons, i hate them.
THE END
