Dh racing Intake manifold combo
DH Racing...
If I remember correctly, their custom intake manifold to replace the 2001-2005 Honda Civic's plastic one (I have a Civic BTW
) was no more than a rectangular box, four pipes sticking out of it, and a hole to mount the throttle body. Absolutely horrible build quality and design. They made another manifold for turbo applications which yielded SOME gains. In general, however, a bad company with a bad reputation for the newer Civics, anways.
I dunno about the S2000. But that's just my $.02

Nah, stay away from them. The people over at 7thgencivic.com have been ripped off. BAD port/polish jobs on our cylinder heads, horrible welds on the custom intake manis for us, etc.
Reputable would be the only thing I would personally do. If you want, you could do some searching down over at 7thgencivic.
edit: found some stuff:
member gearbox with his DH-Racing Ported and Polished D17A2 SOHC VTEC Cylinder Head: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/showthre...&highlight=core
Cliffnotes:
buys cylinder head (PnP), finds imperfections (metal shavings, poor quality), complications with install, crank pulley was a prototype and does not fit and is of poor quality, no refund possible, etc. Give it a read, look for Gearbox's posts. Youll see his dissatisfaction with DH Racing (and his shop haha).
"DH fcked up. They didn't do the port job correct. To properly port a head you are supposed to PORT MATCH the gasket to the head. That is - take the exhaust gasket, lay it on the head, trace around the holes and only take away that much material. Maybe they thought you were going to be running a larger exhaust header - only thing I can think of besides the fact that their work sucks ass anyhow."
"OMG! Dh totally messed up on my head. The exhaust ports are NOT even in the center. I finished the gasket porting. When I went to match it up to the header, the holes were the same size, but the ports I made are not centered!! So now I have to try and dremel the top half of the header ports. So when I'm done, the header ports are gonna be bigger all around. I guess it's okay.
Another thing--my grinding tool won't work on the header metal. Is there something better I need? Help...
Another messup by Dh. I think they milled the TOP part of the head 1mm!! Now I'm checking into this, but that much milling means a messed up cam timing and raised compression."
"You should have seen how much was missing from civicstreetrcr's head. No cam gear, no plastic side cover, and a sensor missing. So I'm glad I didn't actually send in my head to them. It would have come back with tons of parts missing."
"Well Josh promised 30+whp on stock motor. And that's not gonna happen. He and his company are finished here. I started posting up facts about the pulley and how bad it is, and he got scared away.
This is what he thinks about his customers:
Quote:
The real unthusiasts who know about racing and what comes with it will stick around, not the kids who sit and bitch about nothing because they don't have the money to make real power, or on top of that can't turn a bolt themselves, if you want to race be prepared for what comes with it, don't give up over nothing and expect a refund because you believe everything your told. Post all you want Im not coming on here anymore, so I wont see it, PM ME for thos whose want good parts, everyone else have fun bitching at everyone who HAS fast cars. I'll sit back doing what I love and picking whether I want to run my 13 second CRX or my 11 second turbo B16. What a joke ""
Hope this helps and that I am making sense
