Seriously though, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with gender. Some people name their cars. Some people don't. I know more guys who name their cars than women who name them.

My cars have female names. My S2000 is Vanessa and my Mazda 6 is Samantha. My friends often jokingly call them my girlfriends...I often not jokingly agree

Wifey named my first S Chin Koi. Second took the same name although my step son calls it The Black Mamba

If I had an NFR I would call it Scarlet, LOL.
