DO YOU?
I sold my AP1 Spa Yellow S2K about a year ago due to 4000 a year liability insurance
Anywayse, someone comfort me, I miss that car like crazy, no car has been the same, everytime I see a s2000 on the road my heart goes
In the next month or so I'm selling my 3000gt VR4 and hope someone on the forums will sell me a nice and taken great care of AP1 red black or yellow at least supercharged or turbo
oh yeah....AP1 FTW!

I sold my old one for the same reason...ridiculous insurance. I bought it when I was 18. But now that I'm in the military, my insurance has gone down like crazy, so I was able to get another. I missed mine like hell when I sold it. I just picked up my new one a couple weeks ago...
I've heard guys say the same thing, over and over. It's the S Factor. Too fun to let go. I've not been without an S since March 2001, and may get my third one this year. I really love the Laguna Blue.
something is wrong here .... the S2k is actually not that expensive. just got my paperwork from AAA, and it's only $200 a year more than a (urghgrg...) jetta 1.8T. that is before the rebate for the lowjack, apple to apple. i did some checking around, and AAA costs roughly half of the usual suspects (geico, allstate etc).
or in totals: $1600 including everything. This is Tracy, CA, 20 mls south of stockton.
so before selling it because of insurance costs, you might want to spent an afternoon and get some quotes.
btw: there's apparently a plan for a new racetrack in stockton.

I miss mine like a mofo. I needs to get another one as soon as I settle into my wonderful, beautiful, rainy, cold ass, new state of Washington.
