Default Does YouTube Need a "Floor Jacking" Video?

Spring is here, dog sh!t is everywhere!

Just curious if anyone would be interested in a How To Properly Use a Floor Jack on an S2000 instructional video.

I would be going over;

- Floor jack vs emergency scissor jack.
- How to locate jacking points.
- Proper front cross-member and rear differential jacking.
- Importance of saftey such as wheel chocks, jack stands, shaking vehicle, ect.

I would be using my GoPro Hero 2 and editing with Sony Vegas 11. I have experience using these two things and after a quick Google search have found nothing along these lines. I also want this video to be quick, easy to understand, and straight to the point.

Holy crap is that a picture of you under the car with only the floor jack holding the entire thing up? Please tell me it isn't. That is so incredibly dangerous.

I'm curious how you get the car up on all four stands safely. With my S that's lowered very slightly on KWs and has a chaserace hitch on it I can't get to the rear diff jack point once my front is raised by sitting on ramps.

Do you have a low profile jack? You might need to remove that hitch to get under there.

And this is certainly a great idea for a video!

Lol, are you asking for our permission? I have to ask, do YOU want to make a floor jacking video?

Nice idea. Make it. Use that pic in the OP to illustrate what not to do as well

I built four identical ramps with 2x4s and wood screws that I can drive up on allowing me access to the front and rear lift points under the engine and differential. My car is lowered on Swift Sport Springs. Cost me under $10.
