As a drift car, how well do you think the s2k does at being one?
Just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on how well an s2k drifts and what not... I've searched the net and found nothing helpful. Has anyone ever seen any videos of an s2k pulling off some good drifts? Also, could anyone verify that the s2k can drift as well as cars such as keichi's ae86, s13, s14, and mr2... with proper mods of course ;)
Any help would be helpful! :D Thanks. |
hehehehe, i have have my share of fun. I wish there was more low end to really kick the rear end out.

Saw a Best Motoring video a while back that had Keichi drifting the S2000 rather successfully( not surprising). I would think that it would be a good car to drift, but the differential might have other thoughts.

What do you mean that the differential might have different thoughts? Excuse me, but I'm new... don't know too much about the s2k... yet ...:D But, I do plan on getting one fairly soon and would like to take it up to my local raceway... and I am becoming a loyal follower of the ol' drift king. :D

The s2k's stock differential is famous for being weak and can't really handle abuse.
So is the stock clutch for that matter. |
HAHA.... Best way to drift and s2000..
Wait till your S02's all almost dead and you would be AMAZED at how well it does... I think I may just buy a second set of rims just for getting peoples OLD s02 and using those to have fun... -JB- |

I hope you take the time to learn how to drive the S properly before trying to drift.

S2000 no torque, overly snappy chassis, weak clutch....
