driveability?

Hi
I'm hittin the s2k books before I buy one and figured what better place to ask than here. my main question is, how are they as daily drivers? I currently own a 99 prelude, but desire something a bit more. Is it smooth enough to drive daily and approx 15k miles a year? Any huge problems like synchros going out(typical prelude prollem). Thanks guys!!!:D

It has been great fun plus it has that easy open top!

havent tried the S for a daily driver since i have a type r to play around with until i trade it for a bmw e46 m3 smg next week (alpine white/imola red with xenons, 19 inchers, pdc, premium package, power front seat backrests, and i'm ordering an eisenmann exhaust!), then the S will be my daily driver, and my BMW will be my 3 day a week car.

21k miles in a year about about 4 months...no problems.
The car has been running great.

as far as smooth enough to drive everyday...to some it's a rough ride. Ok, it IS a rough ride. The suspension is very tight, but I personally love the feel of it. I use mine as a daily driver and wouldn't have it any other way. I just hope you have something else with more room if you ever need it.

I love it as a daily driver, however, how much trunk space will YOU need?

It is my only car and I love it to death....But when I go to Home Depot I have to watch it. Would be nice to be able to bring wheels/jack to Auto-X, also. Other than that, great daily driver.

I pulled mine up in front of Sam's Club the other day to pick up my wife and the groceries as a couple walked by me. The lady started giving me a hard time about how I was going to put everything in the trunk. "This is Sam's Club, after all" she said. I told her that we do this almost every week with no problem, so I showed her how I could fit everything in the trunk. She was amazed that it all fit.

This is my only car in the family, but our other vehicle is an Odyssey, so I'm not really worried about the trunk space in my car.

As a daily driver, I have had mine almost a year now and I love it. My commute is 20 miles each way, with the ocassional drive of several hundred miles. Driving to work every morning with the top down is especially wonderful, this time of the year. You may want to put snow tires on for the winter, if you get much snow.

Enjoy,
Bob
