Why didn't Honda put fog lights on the car? I see those two black fake grills at the bottom of the front end. What are they for?

They don't anything but look like a place where foglights should go...or to put brake cooling ducts or both!

I'm probably gonna look into brake ducts for next season...

I want fog lights there, but I want something that looks factory on the outside as well as the inside.

Wow...someone else wondered the same thing. Honda sells add-on fog/spot lights for most of their models, except the S2K. Dumb marketing! Also strange how none of the aftermarket fog light manufacturers haven't produced a custom version either.

IMO with the HID headlamps and their beam pattern there is no need for fog lights. They would look cool tho.

I think the idea of making them brake cooling ducts would be the most functional...they look fine as they are now. Adding function would help though.

I agree...to a point, but daytime running lights would also look good there too.

I heard that they were brake ducts on the concept car, but were removed for the production car because in the rain, it would duct the water right onto the brake rotors. Maybe for the pure racers, a duct can be setup.
