I'm looking to put some 2000 red door panel inserts into my 2002 door. Is it possible/easy to just get out the door panel insert? Are the inserts identical for 2000 and 2002? What is a fair price for 2000 red door panel inserts?

also will AP2 inserts and/or whole door panel also fit on AP1 2002?

I know for sure an AP1 door panel is interchangeable with AP2 door panels (this is true for the whole door panel)

The only problem you would have is that the 2000-2001 AP1 door panels do not have the optional tweeter that the 2002 and up have...But the whole door panel is all interchangeable for all model years.

To take the door panel off you would have to take one screw out from the door latch. Then two more screws from the door handle (top and bottom). Then you just basically pull the panel out...then disconnect two plugs before you can remove the hole panel.

the insert itself i think is not interchangeable. i know ap1 inserts have different clips so they can't swap into ap2s, you would have to swap entire panels.
