I used Reliable, excellent service. https://www.reliablecarriers.com/ They own their trucks so they're not brokers, the driver gave me updates during the trip, they bagged all cars on the truck to prevent fluid drips, and it was a hard shell enclosed truck. Some brokers use "enclosed" trucks that have vinyl panels instead of a hard shell, the vinyl panels can leak in wet weather. I've also heard intercity is good, but I've never used them.

Brokers are a nightmare, stay away unless you're willing to accept frustration, delays and lies. Most of the time you'll pay more than what they quote. And you have zero recourse with the broker if there are problems. Google "shipping broker held my car hostage"

If you're determined to go cheap, always google the company to see reviews from past customers and check their BBB rating. Plycon Transport has a D- rating...

Thanks! I did also get a quote from Reliable - you are the 4th to recommend them. They came in at 1700 so not too bad. I may go that route given the number of good reviews.

I've used Plycar and Reliable Carriers for cross-country shipping. Neither were cheap (~$2k). But you get what you pay for. The driver was super responsive when asking for updates, and I think they both provide tracking information. They also do before and after visual inspections of the car and are door-to-door service.

I shipped from ohio to California with nationwide transport services, covered carrier; cost was $ 1450. Driver they assigned was awesome, too; car arrived in 4 days, flawless.

Been watching their videos on YouTube. Good guys and good work. I'm curious what they quoted you for the work,. You could PM me, if you don't want to announce it.

I'm currently doing the same research to ship a S2000 I bought from CO to WI with enclosed transport.

Current quotes:
- Inter City Lines: $1,695
- Montway: $999 cash on delivery(partial debit card deposit required) option chosen, otherwise $1,029 pre-paid. I would do cash on delivery. The reviews are bad on this company and they broker out your order to 3rd party companies.
- Reliable carriers $1,330.00

I used Motorsport 22 to transport my S up from Cali when I bought it. They are great to work with and privately owned with all enclosed transport.
