Engine swap

I was driving home Friday in the CL and I wondered if this engine would fit in the S2K. I have no intention of doing it, I just was wondering. There is plenty of room. The I thought, well that's only 20 extra horses, but what about a NSX engine? That is about the same size as the the CL's (I guess) and that has a lot more horses and room to grow with a supercharger. These are the type of things I think about on my 35 minute drive home. I am not planning on doing any of these changes, I just wanted to throw it out there to think about and for some input.

I liked the S2000 engine in a hachiroku.

What I think would be really cool is:
A S2k engine in a Honda Element!

The NSX and CL both have transverse engines / transmissions. The F20C is the only current Honda with a longitudinal engine / transmission.

Can you turn the engine 90 degrees?

I imagine you could, but you'd have to fabricate new motor mounts, along with lots of other things I'm sure. Supra owners have done this by swaping in the 3stge into their cars, and that is a transverse engine mounted longitudinally. I'm sure anything is possible if you have the $$$

So do you think that the CL engine would make the S2K faster or just FEEL faster?

removing the engine is removing the soul
