I doubt the engine would be a direct bolt on to the transmission. (if you're serious)
|
direct bolt on to the tranny..
The S is longitudinal....the SRT-4 is transverse The SRT-4 motor is dodge...you think they design for honda componentry?:yikes: Besides, the idea is pretty ridiculous. the S was never designed to have a lot of torque, so live with it. if you can't handle that, buy an SRT-4 and mod it to 400 some horsepower. I'll still laugh at you because it's got no class; better off with a mustang IMO. YOu have an S...We've been over this engine swap thing many times...and the resounding answer is, the only swap that makes sense is for a built F20C or a JDM F20C. Still F20C. No NSX motors, no Corvette motors, no Toyota motors, nothing else. especially not the SRT-4 motor. Simple answer: NO. |
is this an early april fool's joke?
|
If I had spare cash, I would buy a blown motor s2k (dead motor, not SC) and stick an M5 motor/tranny. Always wanted to know how that would run.

Damn....there goes my idea to put a yugo engine in:LOL:
Actually on a serious note has anyone looked at if other engines will fit in the car? I looked at alot a bit back and the only one that interested me was the 2.0 V8 with a 12,000RPM redline. But then I realized that the engine probably wasn't that durable and I wouldn't have VTEC:rev: So the question is which engines could fit in the engine bay? Mounting to the transmission could be achieved with a mounting bracket of sorts. Just curious more than anything else. |
well i can't stand the fact that my S cant even keep up with my uncles benz "sl 600" thats the new V12 twin turbo
|
one more thing would the supra engine work?
