I suggest a 2.4L stroker kit on the f22 if you're looking for mid-range grunt. If you build the engine up appropriately while you're in there you can make it reliable enough to be boosted as well. A setup like this would allow you to make more than enough power, as well as give you all the mid-range you would crave. And as a bonus, it would be much less expensive then all the custom fabbing needed for the k20 swap.

You know, from a practical perspective, someone who asks a question like this, should be driving a stock car. Unless you can work on a car, all this stuff, supers, turbo's and engine swaps are just over your head.

Any changes you make like this hurt reliability. Unless you like being bent over by the repair shops, I'd just leave it alone.

Im sorry, but this is a dumb idea. Part of what makes the S2k what it is is our high strung engine.

Just for reference, here is the dyno graph of my old civic with K20A from a DC5 Type R swap and my now S2000. The K20A had Hondata, and was mildly tuned with everything stock...while the S2000 is completely stock (2001 AP1).

As you can see, over 6750 Rpms, the F20C is a lot better. Imgaine if I had just gotten a tuneable box for the S2000 it would be a lot better.

The only advantage to a K20A is more low end torque...but in a race on a circuit or on a drag strip, I would take the F20C anyday.

The K20A is a great everyday car though...and I miss the K20 dearly. Although, I think in the long run, there will be more aftermarket support for the K20A...just my .02 cents

It's just an idea...but I always felt that the engine was weak link in the s2000.
Are you serious? Are you going to post a link to a religious cult website next?

You should swap a Honda Ridgeline engine 3.5L V6 and get a SC for it

Of coarse there will be. Why? Because the K is the new best thing to swap in a Civic, not an S. Its just the new B series. Not that the K is not a remarkable motor, but the F20/F22 in our cars is part of what sets us apart from them (Civics,Interas,RSX.) being that it is the only RWD motor Honda makes.

Pretty sure the Ridgeline's a FWD chassis too. The AWD system's just tacked on, like the MDX.

It won't work either.
