g35 would be the HKS hi-power
Really, it isn't the exhaust that makes the sound. It's the engine. No exhaust wil make an S2000 sound like any of those cars. Just get a nice single like a Spoon or J's and you'll realize that an uncorked S2000 can sound just as good as or better than the cars you mentioned.

Heh, don't know why anyone would want their 9000RPM screamer to sound like a V6. V6s are notorious for sounding like crap when uncorked.
Sure the G35 sounds aggressive from 1-4000RPMS, but it's just another blah V6 uncorked at WOT.

I'm curious as to why the S doesn't have that Civic lawnmower sound.
Is it the header? Even with minimal exhaust muffling it is deep.

I always wondered that myself. I definitely doesn't sound like a four cylinder car (unless you get an off the shelf pep-boys exhaust). I think it's because of the high compression and the nice header Honda gave us from the factory. Just an intake makes the thing scream like it has some sort of exhaust on it.
