i heard from a couple of people that the ap1 engine breaks down after 100000km and needs to be rebuilt most likely..
is this true??

I guess the bset way to answer your question is to say:

Honda offers extended warranty.

they wouldnt risk their ass if 100Kmiles = time for breakdown.

obviously all cars start requiring parts to be changed around 100K+ but the engine, if its not abused should still be good.
