it's 8lbs. which i know is much lighter than stock, so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. once it's lighter it should be ok right?

What do you mean it should be ok? A lighter flywheel will let your engine rev up/down faster. You might gain some top end hp but lose some low-end torque...

8lbs is extremely light...

I have one in my car.

Only problem i have now is that it dips down to 200 rpms and shoots back to stock idle while coming to stoplights

i know waht it does. i was just wondering whether anything else mattered other than the weight. if you say 8lbs is extremely light, i guess this is a good one then

does the car vibrate and rattle violently as well? or does the rpm just drop?

The engine is not going to make and more or less HP or torque, nor will you loose any low end toque, lowering the weight of the flywheel allows the engine to more effectively transfer the power to the wheels. A very worthwhile mod, one that I have done to all my cars.

That may be for the S2000 because of its power characteristics. There are exceptions to every rule...

This M3 lost 1wtq and gained 12whp.

My question exactly. Sometimes lightened flywheels will rattle when disconnected (Clutch pedal depressed)
