Just wanted to let everyone know how great the s2000 was on the track!
I went to Carolina Motorsports Park on 9/13/03 for the drivers ed sessions.This is a 2 mile ,14 turn track with lots of run-off area that is great for newbies like myself. Located in Camden SC just outside of Columbia. The facility,staff & instructors were first rate!
My s2000 is a my02 & completely stock with 1200 miles on the odometer. The car handled very well with no oversteer although my instructor advised me of this tendency & instructed me accordingly.
The brakes were very strong with some fade toward the of the sessions.
This car is absolutely fantastic on a race track & I would highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't tried it!!!
Turn1motorsports.com will have two more track days this season on oct. 18 & nov. 22. Hope to see some s2000 there!!
