Default Fish tailed hit a curb, rear rim bent in..

hello,

first time i fish tailed coming into a turn while it was raining i hit the center divider which was a curb and went right over it and landed in the other opposing lane... when i look with a rear view of the both rims, the right rear rim is bent in.... do you think the chasis is bent? is that considered totalled? i am thinking of taking off the rim and putting it back it, maybe it was just misplaced?

thanks

I don't think the frame is bent. But your suspention and its components will need to be replaced since the impact your described seems to be pretty bad. From what i've seen in the past you are looking at a few thousand in reparts if that is the case. But...it should be far form totaled unless the frame is somehow damaged.

yea since the s2000 has negative camber, it probably save you a little bit. it most likely bent your lower control arms, and knocked your alignment out of wrack. but its far from being totaled.

Dose your car look like this

Have it looked at by a pro body man and mechanic first then if all is good..

You can check the forum's For Sale thread, you maybe able to buy all the parts you need to fix the car cheep and save the insurance hike you will get when you report it$$$$$ Ebay is another good place to check for parts.
Good luck

Haha I didn't know you had ZEOONNN tailights. You mean your hid headlights don't work anymore?

20 bucks says you bent the rim, at least 1 control arm, probably broke your axle/hub and if you're not lucky then also damaged the subframe. Should be at least 3 grand in damage if you take it to a competent shop.
