I recently removed my hardtop for the 1st time and decided not to pay the $500 + to honda and just make one out of PVC. The project took all of 40 min and $40 to make and I was very pleased w/ the results. Any questions will be welcome. The first picture has the measurements that can be read if it is enlarged to full size. In the last picure one can see that i used a piece of dense 1" foam pipe insulation to cushion the front edge; but left it off for the other pictures to show how the top fits in the cradle. I did decide though that I would splurge and buy the $80 honda cover w/ the S2000 logo w/o losing any sleep. great job. Do you have any potential tipping problems, since the tubing is so light?

No, the weight of the top and the wide stance keeps everything in place. It would take someone to intentionally push it over and would require a lot of force.

I love it and I need one. I'm going to give it a try this weekend.
