<insert free speech lecture here>

Your response made me chuckle.

Back to free mods ...

At the drag strip you can over inflate the front tires to reduce their rolling resistance.

When autocrossing you can draw chalk lines on your tires to help optomize tire pressures.

In any kind of competition you can usually gain some advantage over anyone you can "psych out." Like anything else, racing is part mind game.

PRACTICE. Practice is free, and you can practice some things every time you drive. You don't have to be going fast to pick a perfect line and keep the car on it, and you don't have to be keeping the car in VTEC to practice smooth shifting and rev matching. Smoothness is key to being fast, and you can practice being smooth every time you get behind the wheel. You don't have to drive like an idiot to improve your skills on the street, it will improve your performance, and it cost nothing.

Isn't the paint under the tape really screwed or actually missing on some cars? I remember reading somewhere that people have taken it off and been less than happy with what was there...

Here is a link to a free mod!

Another thing that I seen a guy do at the dragstrip, and it accually worked was he had a stock air box and he put some dry ice in the left section off the air box.( opposite of the filter) then removed the air guide tube and said it was a ghetto air charge cooler. I'll be damned if he didnt pull better time each time he did it!
Why bring this back from the dead for no reason?? it's been 2 years since the guy asked and this wasn't made a sticky for a reason...
