Default Front Strut Bar

in my searching, I've noticed a few individuals saying that a front strut bar on an S is pointless and doesn't do anything. Before I spend the money on one, I'd like to hear from others who have front strut bars and if it's worth the $$$ as opposed to not having one.
also:
if it IS in fact something that you recommend I look into, which one would you choose out of:
(all on Evasive)
Cusco
J's
DC
Spoon

thanks!!!

I don't think it will do anything alone, you will need to have a combination of braces and bars to feel a difference (IMO, from what i've heard). i have a Cusco Carbon Fiber Front Strut Tower Bar and i can't tell the difference with it on or off.. i use it mostly for some engine bling

no use for our car, however if you still have the burning urge to spend money, go with a good sway bar or x brace, those will worth every penny or yen spent.

honda did alot of research and put out a very good chassis as it, unlike a crx, you can almost poke thru the chassis reinforcement point with a finger (which needs alot of bracing, if you are racing that car)

I bought a spoon and it did nothing
Just Bling unless you by the T1R or ASM with the x-brace that I hear is more effective

For the price of a J's, Spoon, or Cusco STB, you can get an x-brace that actually functions.

It's a convenient place to put your hand when working on your engine.

That's pretty much it.

ha, enough said. but it sure does spice up under the hood.

as far as the T1R x-braced front strut bar goes, has anyone utilized this particular one (or another x-braced front bar)? Your thoughts?

Yeah...I have that style bar. Only real difference is some added steering feel...it bolts to the steering rack.
