Fuel cover release
Has this happened to anybody else (maybe I'm the only goose around here)
The first day I get my car, I take it for a drive home from the dealers, and decide to fill the tank up with premium fuel.
I get to the petrol station, go to pop the fuel door release (or whatever it is called) only I can't find any lever to pull.
I search the centre console near the boot (trunk) release, nothing there, search the dash nothing there.
Rather than looking like an idiot at the service station I drive home to have a read of the owners manual.
I find the page, notice that it is a round button somewhere near the end of the driver's door. It still takes me about another 30 seconds to find the darn thing!
At least I know if the car gets stolen by some joyrider, they will probably not be able to fill it up!

You are definately not the first. When the MY00 started this was a common "oops" topic along with the ever famous and popular RTFOM (read the f....n owners manual). In addition most of the sales reps did not know where they were either.
Congrats and welcome to the board!

this would've happened to me, thankfully i work at a honda dealership and knew about it well before i bought mine.
dont feel too bad, lots of people have trouble with it. i dont know why honda chose to place the trunk and gas cover release switches in the oddest places.

This happened to me on the test drive for my car. And the really sad part was the dealer had no clue where it was. No manuals in the car, so we just searched for about 30 minutes unitl I finally found it. Needless to say I didn't ask the salesman to go over the car with me and tell me all the normal things like washerfluid fill and such. I figured he wouldn't know.
