Brought my car to a Honda dealership to get the radio code. Bunch of salesmen and office workers came to my car to check it out telling me I've changed a lot of stuff. Service lady got into my car to get the radio serial number and had trouble getting out. She said the cars not good for girls

Gas station yesterday...

"That thing is nice... did it come like that with blue wheels and wing?"

"Yes, Honda does it for their special edition models..."

I was cracking up watching him watch me drive away. LOL

My three-year-old, whenever he sees me getting into my S, tells the entire world (*loudly*), "NICE CAR, DADDY!"

Thanks, son. *thinks kid is angling to ask for keys when he's 16*

With a co-worker today, I took my s2000 through a long tunnel for the first time with my HKS exhaust.

Him: "Wow"
Me "Yea"

Unfortunately though it wasnt as loud as I was expecting.

Was she as big as a house and as graceful as a drunk elephant by any chance?

I went to the Honda dealership yesterday to see if I could possibly trade-in my '07 SS for an '08 apex blue CR, which the salespeople kept referring to as "laguna blue pearl special edition car", they had sitting in the showroom for $29,900. After talking to a salesman and not being able to convince two salesman to lower the monthly payment-- they were asking for just $18 a month less than my current S2K's already high monthly payment--, I decided not to go through with it, especially since my S is almost paid off anyway. Anyway, my point for sharing this story is the following conversation I had with an 18-year-old salesman there:
Him: So you don't want to trade?
Me: No, I'll just keep my car.
Him: Are you sure?
Me: Yes.
Him: Okaaay, 'cause this special edition one is fast as hell! I let a guy test drive it with me in the car and he took it up to 115 like nothing.
Me: That's nice. So it's been driven by a lot of people, huh?
*I think that's when he realized he made a mistake by telling me about the test drive*
Him: Oh, noooo... Actually, it was just a one-time occurrence. Hey, let me ask you something... You know how to drive stick, right?
Me: Yes, I do. Why?
Him: Oh, I was just making sure because the special edition car only has a manual transmission.
Me: You don't say..? That sounds bad.
Him: I know! That's why I didn't buy it. What does your car have?
Me: A 6-speed.
Him: Oh, that's cool.
After that, I told the other salesman who was helping me out that I didn't like his customer service because he would randomly get up and leave to do something else in the middle of the conversation. It's like he had A.D.D. He apologized and I said, "It's okay. You can lose as many sales as you'd like. Have a nice day."

P.S: I lied that their customer service is what caused me to turn away from the CR, but in reality, I realized a few things while sitting around and discussing purchasing the car with two different salesman:
1) I'd miss my SS AP2, which is my first car, btw;
2) The S2000CR looked incredible in apex blue, but I wanted it in yellow (spa or rio? ) so I know I would've been disappointed with the purchase in the end;
3) I already pay $578/mo for my current S2K and there's about $15-16k left before it's paid off;
4) For a $29,900 2008 car, the S2000CR's monthly payment was too high; and lastly,
5) You have to pay to play, but I already own a pretty nice stock AP2, so I'll just spend the extra money I didn't waste on a down payment for the CR on either a few exterior mods or continue saving for whatever else I'd like.
